For me, these often strike at the most inconvenient moment.
You know, when you can’t do anything about them.

I’ll be in the shower.
Driving.
Having a conversation with someone.
In a work meeting.
With a client.
Coaching.
Doing a workout.
Cleaning.
Cooking.
Laundry.
Watching a movie or TV show.
And bam.
A little spark.
Or a big whoosh of inspiration will strike.
A moment of sudden and great revelation or realisation.
An epiphany.

I have journals and notebooks filled with them.
Voice notes.
Notes note on my iPhone.
But unless I do something with them—
Create something,
Create value—
For someone specific,
In the right context,
In a way that will reach someone,
I’ve come to realise they are pretty much pointless.

And what happens if those thoughts, feelings, ideas,
These gems of wisdom or action,
Are part of our legacy?
Are the reason we are put on here on the planet?
Are pieces of the puzzles we need to put together and put to use?
Does it mean we are not fulfilling our dharma? Or our destiny?

While we can’t change the past,
We can change what we do right now and in the future.
We can change our strategies.
We can change our actions.
We can change based on what we learn,
What’s working,
And most definitely by noticing what is not working.

Is this effective?
Am I getting the outcome I’m after?
Is this creating value?
What kind of value?
For who?
Is this the right place, platform, context or environment for that person and this content?
If not, how can I change what I’m doing, so it is?
And test/validate it?

Don’t build it and think they’ll come.
Don’t think it and not do anything with it.
Use it, or lose it.

I help people unlearn stuff that isn’t workable and design behaviour which guides them towards fulfilment, freedom & flow.
