Is it possible to have more than 24 hours in a day?
COVID-19 is impacting 98.6 per cent of the world’s student population. According to UNICEF, 106 countries have implemented nationwide closures, 55 are implementing local closures while 48 countries schools remain open.
As parents, family or guardians, this means we got to be instant teachers, chefs, caretakers, mates, cleaners, maids, butlers and bartenders — albeit for ourselves — all while working full time or trying to find employment, from homes which were never designed to achieve any of these things.
The upside? That we can do a lot of it in our pyjamas or with no pants on, and day drinking is not as frowned upon as much anymore #wineismommyslittlehelper #alcoholismummyslittlehelper
These are the moments where having resources could help a bunch, for example, extra money to outsource some of this stuff to take the pressure off, am I right?
Yet, there is still one thing that truly equalises us as human beings. The one resource we have the same, no matter our nationality, ethnicity, gender, race? Know what it is?…. TIME.
While the former factors may dictate a lot of our resources, opportunities and obligations, there is an area we can focus on to get more time out of each day.
The blissful feeling and experience of having more time.
The potential to produce superior output and results.
To increase our productivity.
We can focus on our ENERGY.
Energy is defined in physics as our capacity to work, and in human beings, it comes from four main things: our body, emotions, mind and spirit.
