Taking healthy habits from lockdown into our COVID normal lives.

--

For many of us, the easing of lockdown brings opportunities to see friends and family IRL, get outdoors, play sports, shop, visit the hairdresser & our personal care experts, head back to the office and get back to doing stuff that we value. But Coronavirus has changed our lives — in both positive and negative ways. However, we can choose to see this time as a positive, not a negative. Many of us have led much less busy lives during lockdown and have reshaped our daily life and habits based on what we have received enjoyment from, including more time at home and with those we live with.
As we return to a new COVID normal, how can we keep the useful & positive habits that we have developed in lockdown?

We can focus on

Staying connected.
Eating nourishing foods.
Daily movement.
Keep making time for our physical and mental wellbeing.
Getting regular exercise.
Creating opportunities to socialise with family and friends — either in person or virtually.

Take the chance to think about how we want our ‘COVID normal’ life to looks, and ask ourselves these questions:

Are there things from pre-coronavirus I want to return to?
Are there habits I want to stop?
Have you done things during lockdown which I want to continue?
How busy do I want my weekends to be?
What is it that I really want to prioritise and focus on?
