You Need More Bad Ideas.

Do you ever feel like all the good ideas have been taken?

I sit down to write nearly every day. But for the most part, it feels like a load of rubbish. Work not worth publishing. Definitely not ideas worth spreading.
It’s tempting to imagine that there’s no possible way to make a contribution.
The horse has bolted, and Elvis has left the building.
There is just me here, some crappy words and crickets for an audience.
Maybe my Ma or Nan will read it.

Bad Ideas are your friend.

They are proof you are showing up, creating art, doing your reps and getting practice in.
Behind every good idea, book, screenplay, song, product or service, was a whole lot of bad ideas, which someone worked on, and they got better and better until they were ideas worth sharing.
Ideas worth spreading.

If you’re getting started with something new in 2022—that new book, blog or business perhaps—don’t worry about trying to change the world just yet.
Get your crappy ideas down.
Followed by doing your reps and honing in on your skills and craft—ideally on the daily.
Then focus on making something worth sharing. Through practice, You got this.
